About the Filmmakers
María Alejandra Guerrero Rocca, Co-Director began her career as a lawyer, later on she decided to pursue a career in cinematography which began in the documentary titled Dudamel: Let The Children Play (2010) while she was studying at IESA (Venezuela) in order to obtain a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Afterwards, she studied Production at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and Entertainment and Media Management in the University of California (UCLA).
She was in charge of the executive production and general production of the film Libertador (Spain/ Venezuela), this feature film was selected in the short list for the 87th Academy Awards (2015) in the category Best Foreign Film. She also Co-Directed and produced the film Vamos (2015).
Braulio Rodriguez, Co-Director is a Havana–born award-winning filmmaker. He studied at the High Institute of Art in Cuba. He produced La Piscina, which had its premiere at Berlinale 2013 and received the Jury Prize at the Marrakesh Film Festival. Sebastián is part of the EAVE Network and a CMPA member.
